Born in Los Angeles, c marquez lives and works just outside of Taos, New Mexico. They earned a BFA from The University of Kansas and an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

print/letterpress/books/papermaking studio coordinator assistant with Penland School of Crafts; artist-in-residence, print studio coordinator and art educator with The Provincetown Art Association and Museum; and print assistant to fellow with the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. marquez previously worked as a graphic designer, package designer, and illustrator. marquez is occassional adjunct faculty with the University of New Mexico, Taos.
